About me

I'm so happy you're here

I have always been drawn to the things people keep.

The handwritten recipe tucked inside a cookbook. A folded letter that's soft from being opened again and again. The photograph that's lived for years inside a wooden frame. These aren't simply objects. They're reminders of who we were, who we loved, and the moments that uniquely shaped our lives.

That's the heart of Cedar + Pines.

Whether I'm photographing a family, pressing ink into handmade paper, or addressing an envelope by hand, my hope is always the same: to create something that feels worthy of being held onto. Something that doesn't simply celebrate a moment, but becomes part of its story.

Because the most meaningful things in life aren't just remembered.

They're kept.

About Cedar + Pines

Stories told through lens, ink, and paper.

Cedar + Pines is rooted in meaningful moments. Inspired by the quiet strength and enduring beauty of evergreens, this space was created to celebrate the stories that shape our lives. Through photography, handwritten calligraphy, and thoughtfully designed paper goods, each piece is crafted to capture a moment, preserve the words that matter most, and transform them into something lasting you can hold in your hands.

Meet the Crew

The cameras, presses & peculiar old things behind Cedar & Pines.

June

Canon EOS 6D · Digital
The workhorse. The one behind most of the photographs in the archive. Clean when she needs to be, nostalgic when I ask nicely.

Oliver

1908 Pilot Printing Press · Letterpress
The eldest of the crew, by about a century. Still printing one impression at a time.

Poppy

Polaroid Now+ · Instant Film
Eight photographs to a pack. No deleting, no perfecting, no second copy. That's the magic.

Millie

Canon EOS Rebel 2000 · 35mm Film
A turn-of-the-millennium girl, hence the name. Millie trades instant gratification for 35mm film, happy accidents, and the wonderfully agonizing wait to find out whether we got the shot.

Different tools. Different processes. Same purpose: making something worth keeping.

"And into the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul."
